Revelation 5:13
¹³ And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ^[a]ever!”

Praise to the Lamb: A Poetic Rendering of Revelation 5:13
Inspired by the awe and unity of all creation

To the One seated high upon the throne,
And to the Lamb, whose mercy shines and reigns,
Every creature—earth and sky,
Sea’s deep chorus, soaring cry—
Raise their voices, echoing praise,
From dawn’s first blush to night’s soft haze.
Blessing, honor, glory, power,
Circling round them hour by hour,
From the smallest sparrow’s song
To the thunder’s mighty throng,
All creation now proclaims:
Blessed be their holy names.
With wings that beat and rivers wide,
With mountains still and oceans’ tide,
With whispered winds and roaring seas,
All fall silent, all agree:
To the One enthroned above,
And to the Lamb—a world of love.
Forever blessing, glory, might,
Shine upon them, pure and bright,
Earth and heaven, song and word—
Let this endless praise be heard.
