The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) reviewed a proposal by the Western Australian Planning Commission and the City of Armadale to develop a 138-hectare water-based recreation park in Armadale. The proposed park will feature an international rowing course, residential areas, urban land uses, sporting and conservation facilities, an Aboriginal interpretive centre, conference amenities, short stay accommodation, and some retail commercial outlets.
Environmental Impacts

Roughly 3.38 hectares of Threatened Ecological Communities will be impacted.

Fauna habitat will be affected, with both positive and negative implications for wildlife.

THE PROJECT:

The completion of the project has turned out to be one of the most magnificent spaces that is available for family and recreation in WA, I find myself much more interaction with this space ever so often that it is changing my life. From everyday walks to family picnics, weekend runs, pack runs, (group of planned activities with families) and the list goes on. This is a one stop that one must experience to be able to tell a friend about. The amazing sceneries, and cooling summer walk experiences just makes it worth while to get out there and enjoy a walk with your dog, a family member or enjoy a quite time alone, which is one of my Favorite things as I unwind from the pressure of the day or the week.

MY EXPERIENCE:

Although one can have a talent, it is self-discipline and hard work that often shapes and makes a champion one step ahead of the rest.
